3 Ways to Lift Your Spirits!   Are you in a rut? Not in the mood to do anything?

Sometimes we get burnt out with our day to day lives and need to make some small changes to put us back in a good mood. Here are a few things you can do to lift your spirits!

  1. Start a gratitude journal!  Spend 20 min and write down everything that comes to your mind that you’re grateful for. It might be hard at first,  a cup of coffee, a sunny day  - keep thinking about it and as things come up throughout the day,  write them down.  If you do this every day for a month you’ll find that you have a whole new attitude!
     2.  Stretch!   Spend some time doing stretches.  Touch your toes, use a door frame and twist your arms
     and back.  Feel the stretch.  As we age our muscles get tighter, that’s why they say people shrink 
     when their older!   By stretching out your muscles it will help with flexibility and every day tasks.

     3. Try a new recipe!  Even if it’s just a big salad with all the toppings. Trying something new gives 
     you a feeling of accomplishment.
